Last night Palmer Report predicted that Donald Trump would end up having his biggest Twitter meltdown yet today, now that he knows he can’t hold press briefings anymore. It took him awhile to get going, but sure enough, Trump is on a rampage for the ages – and it’s going so haywire, he’s already being forced to delete it and try again.
Trump tweeted this bizarre rant: “I work from early in the morning until late at night, haven’t left the White House in many months (except to launch Hospital Ship Comfort) in order to take care of Trade Deals, Military Rebuilding etc., and then I read a phony story in the failing @nytimes about my work schedule and eating habits, written by a third rate reporter who knows nothing about me. I will often be in the Oval Office late into the night & read & see that I am angrily eating a hamburger & Diet Coke in my bedroom. People with me are always stunned. Anything to demean!”
Well, that was his second attempt. The first time around he spelled it “hamberger” and had to delete it and try again. This comes after he spelled it “hamberder” several months ago. How many ways are there to misspell hamburger? And why is the President of the United States tweeting the phrase “I am angrily eating a hamburger & Diet Coke in my bedroom” in any context? This guy needs help.
