Today is Memorial Day, when we should be honoring those Americans who gave their lives in war to protect our nation and our freedom. Five time draft dodger Donald Trump spent the weekend golfing during a pandemic, then showed up embarrassingly late today for a wreath laying ceremony, and refused to wear a mask. Joe Biden took a very different approach.
Joe Biden ventured out of quarantine today for the first time in ten weeks so he could lay a wreath at the Delaware Memorial Bridge Veteran’s Memorial Park. As you can see from this brief video clip posted by CNN, Biden practiced proper social distancing, and he wore a mask:
A socially distanced Memorial Day morning for @JoeBiden.

Now this is what leadership looks like. The contrast between Joe Biden and Donald Trump could not be greater.
