Election polls and approval rating poll continue to suggest that Donald Trump is incrementally losing the support of some people outside his base, who voted for him last time but were never thrilled with him, and didn’t decide to give up the ghost until they saw how disastrously he handled this pandemic. But Trump’s true base – the group idiots who worship him – is more out of control than ever.
Trump’s goon squad has now apparently decided that the entire coronavirus thing is a mere hoax aimed at taking him down, even though sixty-something thousand very real Americans have died in this “hoax.” Fortunately, Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu is here for the takedown:
This is what a cult looks like. They view everything through the lens of whether it’s good or bad for @realDonaldTrump, instead of whether it’s a good idea, a bad idea, or just plain insane. They reject facts & believe #COVID19 is a hoax. And they are likely spreading the virus. https://t.co/wvJaaJ1oJ5
