Last night Donald Trump decided that the middle of a deadly pandemic was the right time to stop and whine in public about how he’s the real victim in all of this. Trump pointed at the Lincoln Monument, and then insisted that he’s facing even more unfair treatment than Abraham Lincoln. It was one of the most embarrassingly narcissistic, tone-deaf, and pathetic displays in the history of the presidency.
Joe Biden has a message for Donald Trump, in a new TV ad centered around the incident. That message is cry me a river:
Over 1 million cases of COVID-19. Almost 70,000 dead. What is upsetting President Trump? Tough questions from the press.
